01-06-2015

Once again the mobile-laboratory truck of the Astrobiology Center was present at the Scientific End.

The Scientific End of Madrid is an initiative that aims to promote the scientific spirit in the young students of Secondary Education of the Community of Madrid. With light as the central theme, it was held at the Alcobendas headquarters of the National Museum of Science and Technology during the last weekend of May with great success of participation both from invited centers and the public.

This important event of dissemination and education could not miss the Center for Astrobiology (CAB, CSIC-INTA), which, as in previous years, attended this appointment with its Astrobiology workshops "Looking for Life in the Universe" and providing one of the fundamental tools in their scientific work: the mobile-laboratory truck.

Through the improvised stage on the entrance esplanade to the Museum, hundreds of curious people interested in knowing how to work in this multidisciplinary science approached through three simple experiments in which the youngest could participate becoming astrobiologists for a day.
