Exoplanets: other worlds, other lives?

When you are a training astrophysicist and you dedicate yourself to Astrobiology, you feel a kind of pride for the contribution of the discovery of exoplanets for the study of the origin of life and its search in other places of the Universe.

If, besides, as it is my case, it is dedicated to its investigation, to characterize them to know how they are, how they originated and thus be able to compare them with our Solar System in order to get to know our "house" better; he knows that with the discovery of the first exoplanet he did not finish the race, but began, and that much remains to be done to be able to announce, if it exists, "we have found life outside the Earth".
