First Light for 4MOST Marks a New Era of Spectroscopic Surveys — CAB Scientists Contribute to a Global Milestone

The Centro de Astrobiología (CAB), CSIC-INTA participates in the 4MOST project that saw first-light in October 2025. This new telescope will determine the chemical composition and movements of stars, and distances to galaxies, in the southern hemisphere.
