Albert Domingo is a researcher of the National Institute of Aerospace Technology working for the INTEGRAL/OMC project. He is the ground segment coordinator of the OMC optical camera, and responsible for the operations, calibration and scientific software of this instrument. His research topics focuses on astronomical instrumentation, optical photometry from space, optical counterparts of high energy sources and variable objects.

He has participated in several R&D projects financed in competitive calls from Public Administrations, most of them closely related to the development, operation and exploitation of astronomical instrumentation, mainly from space.

He is a member of several scientific/technical committees. Among them: PLATO Characterization and Operations Team, INTEGRAL Multimessenger Collaboration, INTEGRAL Operations Coordination Group. He has published more than 20 articles in prestigious peer-reviewed science journals, more than 70 scientific telegrams (ATEL and GCN) and more than 50 scientific conference proceedings.
