Expert in the multi-range analysis of massive star formation and evolution throughout the history of the Universe, and the relationship between episodes of star formation and nuclear activity. Expert in space instrumentation, having participated in several missions such as the MINISAT-Legri gamma-ray instrument, the INTEGRAL Optical Camera, the BepiColombo-MIXS X-ray telescopes and the PLATO optical telescopes. More than 100 contributions in international peer-reviewed journals (h-index = 43, with around 6,100 citations) and more than 115 additional publications in conference proceedings, technical reports, … Supervisor of 8 PhD theses and 1 Master’s thesis. Participant in the Master’s Degree in Astrophysics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid as lecturer in “High Energy Astrophysics”. Participation in 20 projects at European, national or local level, being Principal Investigator in 14 of these projects.
