The MOONWALK project’s first Martian exploration tests with the Gandolfi 2 spacesuit and the YEMO robot took place from 16 to 29 April 2016 in Rio Tinto. Successful communication was established with the International Mission Control Centre in Brussels and the astronauts were able to run the simulation successfully.
