Exploration of Martian atmospheric dynamics with NASA’s InSight lander and high-resolution modeling

I will provide an overview of the results on the Martian atmosphere obtained by InSight at the surface of Mars, with a focus on atmospheric measurements on board the spacecraft, and some perspectives on the possible seismic signatures associated to weather phenomena. Those observations can be interpreted by mesoscale modeling and Large- Eddy Simulations: I will describe the past work of our team on this topic, and some preliminary simulations to interpret the observations on board InSight.
