I study different aspects of the baryon cycle of distant star-forming galaxies. I use a multi-wavelength approach to probe different properties of galaxies across cosmic time. For instance, I frequently use optical\/near-infrared spectroscopy from MUSE and X-Shooter on the Very Large Telescope, or interferometric data from the Atacama Large Millimiter\/submillimeter Array. I am particularly interested in the chemical enrichment of galaxies (via gas, chemical abundances and star formation) and how it connects to the surrounding environment (such as gas flows).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2018, I received my double Bachelor\u2019s degree in Fundamental Physics and Chinese from the University Pierre and Marie Curie and Sorbonne University (Paris, France) and in 2021, my Master\u2019s degree in Astrophysics from the University of Montpellier (Montpellier, France). I obtained my PhD degree from the University of Lyon (Lyon, France) in 2024, after spending 3 years as an IMPRS student at the European Southern Observatory (Garching, Germany). Since September 2024, I work at CAB as a postdoctoral research in the ERC Starting Grant\u201cDistantDust\u201d group, lead by Irene Shivaei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
