Evolved Stars and Virtual Observatory<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Physics Degree by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. PhD at the European Space Agency. I hold a postdoc position at Haburguer Observatory (Germany), followed by another at Observatorio Astron\u00f3mico Nacional (Spain). Finally, I incorporated to the Spanish Virtual Observatory (SVO) at CAB in 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My main research field is the evolved stellar evolution of low- and intermediate-mass stars, specifically Asymptotic Giant Branch (AGB) stars and White Dwarfs. I do my research through the massive exploitation of astrophysics data bases using Virtual Observatory (VO) methodologies. In the last years, I have focused my research in the exploitation of the Gaia archive. In addition, as member of the SVO, I participate in many of the VO related activities of the group, as for example: VO Schools, develop of VO tool, develop of the Calar Alto and GTC archives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
