The exhibition \u2018Women Astronomers<\/strong>\u2019<\/a> shows through contents and interactive elements the active role of women<\/strong> and their contributions to this discipline.<\/p>\n\n

Its digital version, on the website www.astronomas.org<\/a>, includes information on 270 women astronomers<\/strong>who work or have worked in one or more of the fourteen disciplines in which the exhibition is structured. The information is accompanied by various materials<\/strong> that include a contextualisation of astronomy in relation to other sciences, its relationship with culture (cinema, literature, art, etc.), downloadable educational booklets, interactive games, podcasts and videos.<\/p>\n\n

One of the objectives of the exhibition is to promote scientific and technological vocations,<\/strong> in particular among girls and adolescents, as well as to disseminate the research carried out by women scientists in astronomy and astrophysics.<\/p>\n\n

\u2018Women Astronomers\u2019<\/a><\/strong> also has a physical version of 16 explanatory panels<\/strong> in Spanish, Galician and Catalan, which will be exhibited in different parts of Spain<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

The original soundtrack<\/strong> of the exhibition is composed by the young musician and future astrophysicist Paula Espinosa, finalist in 2020 of the Antena 3 TV programme ‘La Voz’. <\/p>\n\n
