The information contained in the datafrom these sensors is very valuable and revealing for a better understanding of themeteorological agents that take place daily on Mars. It is necessary to know in depth theoperation of both sensors and the data processing flow followed to transform the digitaldata received from Mars into tangible information. The main goal of this thesis is to usesignal processing methods that help us to extract useful information contained in thesensors\u2019 data not visible at first sight. It is desired to extract information related tospecific environmental processes on Mars, thus contributing to a better understandingof our neighboring planet. With all this acquired knowledge, an exhaustive research ofsignal processing methods has been made to find the best methods that fit our data andhelp us to find the information related to the environmental processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:45px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5><strong>Aplicaci\u00f3n de m\u00e9todos de procesamiento de se\u00f1ales a los datos de la Estaci\u00f3n de Monitorizaci\u00f3n Medioambiental del Rover para el an\u00e1lisis de los procesos medioambientales en Marte<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>La presente tesis analiza los datos de dos de los sensores de la estaci\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica REMS, localizada Mars Science Laboratory (MSL), activa en Marte desde agosto de 2012: el sensor de presi\u00f3n (PS) y los sensores de temperatura del aire (ATS). La informaci\u00f3n contenida en los datos de estos sensores es muy valiosa y reveladora para comprender mejor los procesos meteorol\u00f3gicos que tienen lugar diariamente en Marte. Es necesario conocer en profundidad el funcionamiento de ambos sensores y el flujo de procesamiento de datos que se sigue para transformar los datos digitales recibidos de Marte en informaci\u00f3n tangible y legible. El objetivo principal de esta tesis es utilizar m\u00e9todos de procesado de se\u00f1al que nos ayuden a extraer informaci\u00f3n \u00fatil contenida en los datos de estos sensores, que no son visible a simple vista. Se desea extraer informaci\u00f3n relacionada con procesos ambientales de Marte, contribuyendo as\u00ed a una mejor comprensi\u00f3n del planeta rojo. Con todos estos conocimientos adquiridos, se ha realizado una investigaci\u00f3n exhaustiva de los m\u00e9todos de procesamiento de se\u00f1ales para encontrar los mejores que se ajusten a nuestros datos y nos ayuden a encontrar la informaci\u00f3n relacionada con procesos ambientales. Usando los datos del PS y del ATS, han utilizado wavelets para quitar ruido en los datos del ATS y el algoritmo de An\u00e1lisis de Espectro Singular (SSA) para encontrar indicadores relacionados con los procesos ambientales en Marte.
