The workshop “Astrochemistry on grain surfaces: the Journey of Dust, Ice, and Sulfur in Space” is bringing together experts in the field of surface chemistry to discuss the latest advancements, share insights, and pave the common ground for collaborations. While the workshop will cover surface chemistry in its broadest sense, there will be a particular focus on sulfur chemistry and its role in the evolution of interstellar dust and ice:
- Binding energies
- Grain sizes
- Reactivity
- Desorption yields
- Chemical modeling
- Coupling modeling with observations
- Sulfur sinks and allotropes
The meeting will be held in Museo de Ciencias Naturales in Madrid, 13-16 October, 2025.
