Galaxy Crisol 2025: Unveiling the Origins of Galaxies in the JWST Era

The Centro de Astrobiología (CAB) is bringing together leading astronomers for the «Galaxy Origins in the JWST Era: A Crisol of Stars, ISM, and Supermassive Black Holes» conference in Toledo, Spain, from May 12–16, 2025. The event will highlight the latest breakthroughs in galaxy formation and evolution research, driven by data from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) and other major observatories.

Key topics include the emergence of the first stellar populations, the role of gas and dust in the interstellar medium, and the mechanisms behind supermassive black hole growth. The conference will host 150 participants from across the world.

Against the historic backdrop of Toledo, the conference will foster discussions that bridge observational data and theoretical frameworks, providing a comprehensive view of the early universe. More information is available at https://galaxy-crisol25.github.io/website/index.html.
