I study the interstellar and circumgalactic media of distant galaxies through multi-wavelength observations. This involves using state-of-the-art observatories such as VLT, JWST, and ALMA to understand the role gas and dust play in galaxy evolution.
In 2020, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Astronomy from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and in 2025 I obtained my PhD degree from the Universidad Diego Portales (Chile). During my PhD I was awarded the Agencia Nacional de Investigación (ANID) Graduate Scholarship. Since September 2025, I work at CAB as a postdoctoral researcher in the ERC Starting Grant «DistantDust» group, led by Irene Shivaei.
