Two versions of MADCUBA are provided here (ImageJ is included in the package).(2026-06-16)

The SLIM products generated with versions starting with (12.) are not compatible with earlier versions.

Notice for Mac users:
Some of the latest Apple computers no longer come with Rosetta 2 pre-installed (Learn more). Rosetta 2 is required to run MADCUBA and other software designed for Intel-based Macs.
The error is in console: "./run.sh: line 31: jre/bin/java: Bad CPU type in executable"
If you encounter issues running MADCUBA, please ensure that Rosetta 2 is installed
(You can be used: softwareupdate --install-rosetta --agree-to-license ).
If problems persist after installation, feel free to contact us for further assistance.

  If you download only the database, you have to copy the database files in this directory: /path/MADCUBA_IJ/plugins/MADCUBA_IJ/catalog/ or with option 'MADCUBA'-'Update MADCUBA'-'Catalog Molecules' .

  Changes in this version:

  • Import Herschel didn't open imported when is type HIFI and SCAN. Now It is possible
  • Import Class didn't open imported spectra. Now this imported file is saved and opened with MADCUBA
