Outreach activities
I have given interviews and seminars in high schools (regularly form 2020, next activity scheduled for Spring 2026), and interviews in local media such as Cadena SER and Radio Paz the latter being an exciting and pioneering educational project where interviews are conducted by school students. Furthermore, I have regularly taken part in larger outreach events, such as stargazing events in Oxford, as well as public telescope observations, IFCA open doors, science weeks at IFCA, planetarium activities, European Researcher’s Night, or the “Day of our Science” (IAC). In addition, I have also been a scientific presenter (3 months; Parque de las Ciencias), and provided support for astronomy courses at the University of Córdoba through the Astronomical Association “Caronte.” I also led the organization of the SEA children's drawing contest in 2025 and co-organised the 2024 edition (as part of the “Comisión Mujer y Astronomía de la SEA”; see article Boletín SEA 2024 [page 74]).
