The launch of the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), scheduled for spring 2021, is getting closer and closer, and the astronomical community is already preparing for access to observing time. Given that researchers at the Centro de Astrobiología (CAB) are heavily involved at the technical and scientific level in the JWST, our centre will host a workshop on 16 and 17 March with the aim of providing information and support to the Spanish astronomical community in the preparation of observing proposals. Considered as the successor of Hubble, the JWST will allow the study of fundamental aspects of the Universe, such as the formation of the first galaxies, the birth of proto-planetary systems or the atmospheres of exoplanets.
