CAB’s headquarters are located at the INTA campus in Torrejón de Ardoz, 20 km northwest of Madrid. This site consists of a main building and two annexes (a Molecular Ecology Laboratory and an Astronomical Observatory with a robotic telescope), with a total floor area of approximately 7000 square metres.
CAB-TORREJÓN HAS VARIOUS LABORATORIES:
CAB also has a building at the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC) campus of the European Space Agency (ESA), in Villanueva de la Cañada (Madrid), to accommodate part of the research staff of the Astrophysics Department, formerly part of INTA’s Laboratory of Space Astrophysics and Fundamental Physics (LAEFF).
