Our colleague Carolina González de Figueras together with Andrea Hidalgo (TFM student) from the Astrobiology Centre are participating in the Microworld project where they bring science to the classroom to teach concepts of biosafety🧫, good use of antibiotics🧪 and microbiology🦠.
This work where Carolina is the coordinator of the Virgen de Mirasierra School aims to raise awareness about the current problem of #antibiotic resistance that we face in today’s society.
In addition, this initiative coordinated by the Complutense University of Madrid aims to awaken vocations científicas👨🔬👩🔬 in ESO and Bachillerato🏫 students.
