A team led by INTA scientists, together with UAH, CIEMAT and the University of Tokyo, has obtained a sample of the asteroid Ryugu from the Japanese space agency (JAXA) for one year after passing an international competitive phase. It will be used to study the prebiotic chemistry of the origins of the Solar System using spectroscopic techniques that will also be used in future missions to Mars and its moons.
