She belongs to the Prebiotic Chemistry and Physics of Complex Systems Group and the Complexity and Astrobiology Group at CAB. Her research focuses on bridging Physics of Complex Systems and Astrobiology and applying complexity theory, mathematical modeling, and advanced computing to better understand the origin and early evolution of life.
The award ceremony took place on Monday, May 13, at the National Museum of Natural Sciences in Madrid (MNCN), where the 11 awardees had the opportunity to present a summary of their work to the attendees. The event was hosted by Carmen Simón, director of DPE at CSIC and researcher at the National Center for Biotechnology (CSIC), José María Martell, Vice President of Scientific and Technical Research at CSIC, and Rafael Zardoya, director of MNCN.
