Luca Costantin is an observational astrophysicist engaged in censing and interpreting the properties of galaxies in the local and distant Universe. He is particularly interested in the physical mechanisms which govern the buildup and the evolution of the bulge and disk components across cosmic time.

He obtained his Ph.D. in Astronomy at the University of Padova (Italy) in 2018 and he is currently an Atracción de Talento Fellow at the Astrobiology Center in Madrid.

His collaborations include 10 international projects: MIRI/JWST, CEERS/JWST, SHARDS/GTC, StePS/WEAVE, StePS/4MOST, BEARD, HARMONI/ELT, MAVIS, PUMA, Fornax3D.
