She has worked as a researcher in several Spanish and foreign institutions, including the European Southern Observatory (ESO) and the University of Barcelona.

She participated in the preparation of ESA’s Gaia mission.

She participated in the development of ESASky, a data discovery and exploration portal of ESA.

Currently, she is a member of the Spanish Virtual Observatory, where she works on the creation of the Gaia Catalogue of Galactic OH/IR Stars and the Gaia Catalogue of Galactic Carbon-rich AGB Stars.
