After the Bachelor´s Degree in Biology, I cursed a MSc in Environmental and Industrial Biotechnology trying to find new fields related to biology.

At the end of this MSc, I made my Master´s Thesis at the CAB, a singular research institution that caught my attention from the first moment. Since this experience, my interest about surviving mechanisms of microorganisms from extreme environments has been growing, and after working in other research laboratories focused in genetic stability and stress tolerance I am back at the CAB to carry out my PhD in the field or environmental microbiology and adaptative response to extremely cold environments.
