Group Achievement Award 2024 for the JWST MIRI instrument

The Royal Astronomical Society has awarded the 2024 Group Achievement Award to the international team that developed the MIRI instrument for the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), which includes CAB scientists and INTA engineers. 

The RAS citation acknowledges the impressive achievement of successfully completing the development of this complex and lengthy project, and its culmination with the scientific results that are emerging from MIRI.
