The exhibition Women Astronomers shows through contents and interactive elements the active role of women and their contributions to this discipline.

Its digital version, on the website www.astronomas.org, includes information on 270 women astronomerswho work or have worked in one or more of the fourteen disciplines in which the exhibition is structured. The information is accompanied by various materials that include a contextualisation of astronomy in relation to other sciences, its relationship with culture (cinema, literature, art, etc.), downloadable educational booklets, interactive games, podcasts and videos.

One of the objectives of the exhibition is to promote scientific and technological vocations, in particular among girls and adolescents, as well as to disseminate the research carried out by women scientists in astronomy and astrophysics.

‘Women Astronomers’ also has a physical version of 16 explanatory panels in Spanish, Galician and Catalan, which will be exhibited in different parts of Spain.

The original soundtrack of the exhibition is composed by the young musician and future astrophysicist Paula Espinosa, finalist in 2020 of the Antena 3 TV programme ‘La Voz’.
